How can I make my hair grow faster?

(Idk if this matters but im black and Italian) I had a really ugly/fudged up haircut like 6MONTHS AGO! And my hair still hasn't grown out of it. How can I make it grow faster and longer using home remedies, I already tried vitamins (Hair, Skin and Nails) and they didn't help.
