18 and I've never had a boyfriend...?

I've been kissed twice (by the same guy). I always get close to having a boyfriend and I find out a) they dnt want a relationship or b) they just want to be friends. I'm not the prettiest girl but im not fudged up looking whts the deal? I'm starting college and I've never had an actually boyfriend.
