Did anyone else see this theme in Harry Potter five?

Cornelius Fudge (Head of Ministry of Magic) is using the media (Newspapers-Daily Prophet) to hide a massive conspiracy theory about Dumbledore. Now i know its fiction and all but i think i see the message JK Rowling was trying to convey. The GOVERNMENT owns the media and they control what we see. They know the truth but they wont show it because of fear and because there scared. Like maybe how it was with Bush/ Obama and Fox News and CNN and stuff. Who agrees?
